Bellamy Hayden to undergo restructure

Bellamy Hayden, the media agency, is undergoing a restructure which will see the creation of new roles, including changes to the remit of co-founder and executive chairman, Simon Bellamy.

Phil Hayden, chief executive and co-founder, said it planned to reveal details of the restructure in January, with some people “moving into new roles” and Bellamy retaining his position, but with some of his responsibilities “picked up by other people”.

Hayden said however there would be no redundancies and denied specualtion that Bellamy would be leaving the agency.

“As always we’re re-engineering and changing the agency structure and creating new management opportunities. No one’s leaving and there are no redundancies,” he told Mumbrella.

The agency, which was set up over eight years ago is now owned by the Photon Group which took 100 per cent ownership in August 2007.

This year it launched a media buying arm called Slingshot as well as a PR offering called Chatterbox.
