Ben Ulm joins ITV Studios Australia as head of content

Ulm will report to ITV Studios Australia managing director Anita Jacoby and has developed and produced content for all Australian free-to-air networks, subscription television, UK broadcasters as well as US Networks overseeing factual, entertainment, reality, and lifestyle productions.

“Ben is unquestionably one of the best in the business and he will play a pivotal role in the next phase of growth of ITV Studios Australia,” said Anita Jacoby, ITV Studios Australia managing director.

Ulm most recently was head of factual entertainment at WTFN where he was executive producer of The Living Room and Bondi Vet. In recent years he has developed and produced Keeping Up With The Joneses, Bollywood Star and Tony Robinson Explores Australia.

Jacoby added: “He is a first-class content producer along with being one of the nicest blokes in the industry.”

Ulm will work alongside Jacoby to grow the content business with all networks in Australia, New Zealand and Asia. He will oversee, and work with all genre heads, bringing his wealth of experience and creativity to all current productions and new commissions.

“It’s a rare opportunity to be able to join a brand like ITV. Drawing on my passion for developing and making television, I look forward to adding my two cents worth to the mix, and collaborating with Anita,” said Ulm.
