The Big Bang Theory season premiere wins the night
Nine’s The Big Bang Theory was the most watched non-news program of the evening, pulling 854,000 viewers to the first episode of season 10.
The new episode, which saw Leonard and Penny attempt a formal wedding ceremony, was in the top three shows across the key advertising demographics (16-39s, 18-49s, 25-54s).
Also in the 7:30pm slot, Ten’s The Bachelorette climbed in the ratings, with 613,000 viewers tuning in to the program.
While Nine was well ahead in the 7:30pm slot, the program pulled 25,000 more viewers than last Thursday.
