Big night for Mojo and Zedo at IAB Awards

Sister agencies Publicis Mojo and Zenith Optimedia dominated last night’s IAB Awards, picking up four category wins plus the best in show award.

Zenith Optimedia’s work on Tooheys Extra Dry – Six Beers of Separation was named best in show and also won the new category of branded content. It was an extension of a campaign created by BMF in which young Australian’s were helped to meet their idols. 

Meanwhile Adelaide agency Fnuky secured the first Not-for-Profit / Public Service Award for its anti internet filtering GetUp! “Censordyne” campaign.

Paul Fisher, CEO of the Interactive Advertising Bureau of Australia, said: “This year’s IAB Award winners have displayed an outstanding level of creativity and delivered some of the highest quality submissions in the history of the Awards. All of the entrants should be congratulated on their efforts.

“The record number of entries this year is a reflection of the strong growth in digital and interactive advertising in this market.”

he told the audience that when the next set of online revenue figures are released they are likely to show that Australia has passed the $2bn mark for online revenue.
