Big W begins summer marketing push with Marco Polo ad

Big W has launched its summer campaign ‘Get Summer Ready’ which features children playing the popular pool game, Marco Polo.

Created by M&C Saatchi, the 30-second ad aims to capture the way Australians spend summer days lying by the pool, cooking a barbecue and playing games.

Kristen Linders, general manager of marketing at BIG W, said in a statement: “We love helping our customers make the most of summer and supporting them with a huge range of quality products at great value. Our campaign creative,‘Get Summer Ready’, celebrates the turn of the new season and the fantastic family moments ahead.”

The ad endeavours to promote Big W’s pool inflatables, beach towels and its swimwear range.

The campaign will run across TV, radio, social, out of home and social media.
