Bite Communications, a leading integrated marketing communications agency, today announced the addition of Timi Siytangco as its Director, Digital Strategies. In this newly created role, Siytangco leads Bite Singapore’s and Bite Australia’s digital capabilities and provides strategic client counsel to deliver insight-based, integrated communications campaigns that generate business-driven outcomes.

Siytangco brings 15 years of experience in digital marketing, online media and Internet start-ups. She has delivered regional digital programs for global brands in business technology, including Cisco, IBM, Microsoft, and Oracle. Prior to joining Bite, Siytangco served as Head of Practice, Digital Strategy at Possible Worldwide, where she was responsible for managing strategy, customer acquisition campaigns, and integrated marketing programs for clients including Dow Corning and Starwood Hotels Asia-Pacific. Previously, she led the development and delivery of interactive marketing solutions in Asia-Pacific and Europe at CNET Networks (now CBS Interactive).

“In the last few years, I’ve seen content become a central driver in the success of digital programs,” said Siytangco. “Bite’s proven Point of View methodology that links communities, content and conversations, along with the agency’s integrated approach to communications and on-going investment in key capabilities like search, social technologies, and technical development, made the move a no-brainer for me.”

Bite Communications recently acquired the Hong Kong-based Asia operations of Red Bricks Media, a U.S.-based digital marketing agency, supplementing similar acquisitions in the last two years of digital marketing agency, OneXeno and web and app build firm, Interlink Systems. The new search capabilities add to the content, social media and web development strengths that are the anchors of Bite’s integrated digital service offering.

“Timi is a great strategic and tactical addition to the Bite team at a time when we’re focused on constantly bringing new digital talent and new digital perspectives into our services portfolio. Integrated communications across the B2B and B2C sectors is being driven by a carefully orchestrated mix of compelling, channel-neutral content; digital and offline strategies delivered by people who understand integrated marketing; and a portfolio of digital tools that provide results-driven campaigns,” said Roger Marshall, managing director, Asia-South of Bite Communications. “With her extensive experience and success, Timi brings a wealth of expertise to the organisation and we look forward to working with her to ensure continued digital growth for our operations.”

Bite specialises in integrated marketing and corporate communications campaigns that start with strategic insights, which are then rolled out across multiple markets with compelling, locally relevant content.
