– Bite Communications has been chosen by Adobe Systems to manage its public relations campaign for Australia and New Zealand. The new client win completes a strong quarter of growth for Bite driven by local and regional budgets and new clients including captioned telephone service provider Australian Communications Exchange (ACE), and cloud computing software specialists Parallels, and Greenplum.

The client wins are supported by promotions and appointments to the Bite Australia team. Karen O’Grady has been promoted TO account director, working across consumer and B2B client campaigns. Jenny Crowcroft has been promoted to senior account manager where she is deepening campaigns for consumer focused clients and building their emerging social media channels.

Bite Australia is proactively developing online client campaigns as part of its Point of View approach to public relations. To expand its capabilities in the social media environment, Bite has appointed New Yorker, Jessica Ben-Ari as account manager. Jessica was previously with M Booth & Associates, a Next Fifteen company, where she worked on the consumer team for American Express focused on blogger relations and online campaigns.

“There is renewed energy in the Australian communications market right now. Based on a focused new business drive, and prospective clients continuing to include Bite on their short list of people they want to work with, we have been a keen recipient of that attention,” said Bite Communications Australia Managing Director, Roger Marshall. “Our growth in the consumer and enterprise technology and corporate communications markets has been largely driven from our local on ground resources.”

“Elsewhere in the Asia-Pacific region, our offices in Singapore, HongKong, Shanghai and Beijing and strategic partners in Japan, Taiwan and India are reporting solid and continued growth, creating opportunities for the appointment of additional professional staff and further expanding Bite’s online and offline service portfolios,’’ he said.
