The Monkeys win Blackmores creative account following pitch

Blackmores logoIndependent creative agency The Monkeys has picked up vitamin brand Blackmores following a competitive pitch, Mumbrella can reveal.

The account was previously held by Naked Communications who were involved in the pitch. Naked won the account in February last year.

Blackmores managing director for Australia and New Zealand Dave Fenlon said: “Blackmores are excited to announce that for the past four months we have been working with The Monkeys as our new agency partner.

“Blackmores has an unrivalled heritage based on knowledge, quality research and innovation. As we continue to grow our customer base and drive innovation in the vitamin and supplement category, our partnership with The Monkeys will pioneer an original and thought provoking creative strategy.

“With a key focus on consumer centricity, The Monkeys inspired approach to brand immersion and channel strategy will communicate the Blackmores passion for delivering leading natural health products and being people’s first choice for health and wellbeing.”

The appointment follows the brand appointing Holler as its digital agency in May.

The Monkeys clients include Ikea, Telstra, Intel, Oak, and Seafolly.

Mumbrella understands a new brand campaign will launch in February.

Naked worked on Blackmores’ campaign which targeted stressed Australian adults to promote its variety of products designed to combat the effects of a stressful life.
