Blind dates yield mixed results on Farmer Wants A Wife as Seven wins the night

Seven’s reality dating program Farmer Wants A Wife has maintained its winning streak since last Sunday as it topped Tuesday entertainment again.

A series of blind dates arranged for the farmers have seen mixed results. Two more ladies left the farm after last night, as the show’s co-host Natalie Gruzlewski looked to introduce more this Sunday.

The show aired to 507,000 metro viewers on Tuesday night, followed by The Chase Australia on Seven with 479,000 metro viewers.

Seven’s Home and Away brought in 446,000 metro viewers. Meanwhile, Ten’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! aired to 435,000 and Nine’s Lego Masters to 411,000.

The #1 program on Tuesday night was Seven News with 897,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 857,000, and Nine News with 790,000. Seven News at 6:30 topped all three key advertising demos.

In overnights, Seven network won the night with a 29.3% share, followed by Nine with 27.5%, ABC with 17.5% and Ten with 17.4%.

The top-rated primary channel was Seven with 20.7%, and the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 3.6%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 11 April, Seven News last Tuesday was the #1 program nationally with 1.565 million Total TV viewers, including 43,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 3%.

However, the program with the biggest uplift of 122% was The Good Doctor on Seven with 307,000 Total TV audience and 49,000 on national BVOD.
