First dates on Farmer Wants A Wife brings in a Tuesday win for Seven

Farmer Wants A Wife on Seven has maintained momentum since its launch, as it topped free-to-air entertainment programming on Tuesday night with 551,000 metro viewers.

The show is followed in entertainment by Seven’s The Chase Australia and Home and Away, with 531,000 and 504,000 metro viewers respectively.

Ten’s I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! brought in 471,000 metro viewers, while Nine’s Lego Masters, which launched on the same night as Farmer Wants A Wife, attracted 435,000 metro viewers last night.

The #1 program on Tuesday night was Seven News with 967,000 metro viewers, followed by Seven News at 6:30 with 956,000, Nine News at 6:30 with 794,000 and Nine News with 767,000. Seven News also topped all three key advertising demos.

On Tuesday, Seven network won the night with a 30% share, followed by Nine with 26.1%, ABC with 18.4% and Ten with 18%.

The top-rated primary channel was Seven with 22%, and the top-rated multichannel was 7Two with 3.7%.

In the latest Daily Consolidated 7 Total TV Report for 4 April, Seven News last Tuesday was the #1 program nationally with 1.475 million Total TV viewers, including 38,000 on BVOD and an uplift of 3%.

However, the program with the biggest uplift of 57% was The Good Doctor on Seven with 372,000 Total TV audience and 45,000 on national BVOD.
