BMF’s Barnwell awarded APG Planning Idol

BMF’s Anna Barnwell has been awarded this year’s APG Planning Idol for her campaign strategy tackling youth homelessness in a brief for the charity, Oasis.

AnnaBarnwellShe won out of  a shortlist of 11, with a highly commended award presented to Meredith Simpson of The Brand Agency.

Paul Moulds, Oasis director said: “Anna’s strategy of disconnection really got to the heart of how these young people feel which is an important step in helping them get back on their feet.

“It was a tough brief, one we are yet to crack, so it’s encouraging to hear new ideas and fresh thinking on a long standing problem.”

Barnwell has won a return trip including accommodation, to the AAAA Planning Conference in Miami in July 2010 and the opportunity to work with Oasis to implement her strategy.
