‘Both deeply aligned with our vision’: Audience Group unveils latest hiring and promotion

Audience Group’s leadership team has gained a strategic boost with two appointments.

Revealed on Tuesday morning, Casey Greig and Angela Rogers are stepping into the roles of head of strategy and client services director, respectively.

Greig’s appointment comes after she served as a strategic insights consultant for more than half a year. Prior to that, she worked as a strategy director at Publicis Worldwide Australia for just over two years; filled the same role at cultural insights agency, The Lab Insight & Strategy; and also served as commercial research director at Bauer Media (now Are Media).

Boasting 17 years of experience in research and media strategy, Greig also completed stints at radio companies, NOVA Entertainment and Southern Cross Austereo, where she held strategy and research positions.

Meanwhile, Rogers’ promotion comes after acting as Audience Group’s account director since May 2022. Before she hopped into Audience, Rogers worked as a senior account manager at indie communications group, BCM Group.

She’s also held marketing and communications roles at Brisbane City Council and Telstra.

“Angela and I are both firm believers in the vision that led Tom Evans and James McDonald to launch Audience Group,” Greig shared.

“We’re here to push the boundaries of advertising and media strategy through intelligent application of data and analytics.

“That mindset is what drew me to the agency. It’s a culture of innovation that generates an exciting and reinvigorating energy, and a clear focus on clients’ business objectives.”

Rogers commented on her appointment as well, saying: “Audience Group is a team of sharp minds that turn ambitious thinking into practical, measurable solutions.

“We’re energised by working with forward-thinking clients who embrace new approaches and trust us to deliver better results.

“Strong client relationships are the foundation of our best work.

“By building trust and collaboration, we create an environment where we can focus on what we do best.

“With evidence-based rationale, our clients gain the confidence to take calculated risks—resulting in strategies that drive real business impact,” she concluded.

According to Audience Group’s managing director, James McDonald, both Rogers and Greig uplift Audience with new energy and strengths.

“Angela and Casey are both deeply aligned with our vision for the agency and for the advertising industry,” he said.

“They bring fresh energy, different but complementary strengths, and a shared focus on delivering outstanding work. They will challenge, refine, and push us all to do even better.”

Greig and Rogers’ new roles within the agency comes more than two weeks after Audience revealed that Tom Evans – its co-founder and managing director – was taking on the role of chief operating officer, at the same time as McDonald being named he agency’s managing director.
