Brisbane local lifestyle magazine Bmag ceases publication
Brisbane lifestyle magazine, Bmag, has ceased producing both a print an an online product.
Bmag, which has run for more than a decade, said no jobs will be lost as a result of the closure, and the brand will maintain a social media presence through Facebook and Instagram.
According to a story on the magazine’s website, Bmag’s parent company, Bmedia Solutions, will focus its work on its other assets, including digital agency MCM Digital, InkSpin – a specialist in wall art and floor art – and Bmail, a direct mail and distribution service.
“Nothing lasts forever, and it’s time for us to say farewell,” the post said.
“Nobody likes a long goodbye, but we do want to take a moment to thank you, our readers, for your feedback, your support and your dedication. If you’ve enjoyed reading our stories, entering our competitions or taking our daily quiz, we want you to know that we’ve always appreciated it.
“We’ve never taken your time for granted, and we’ve always strived to add a little positivity to your day.
“It’s been an honour, Brisbane.”
The magazine ceased publication on Monday this week.
