Brownlow Medal reaches over one million viewers, Junior Masterchef doesn’t
The Brownlow Medal, where the best AFL player of the year is announced, was the highest rating non-news and current affair program for Monday night, carried by a large Melbourne audience.
Seven’s telecast of the award’s night pulled a five-city metro audience of 1.13 million, according to preliminary metro ratings from OzTam.
It was the most-watched show of the night in Melbourne with 743,000 and Adelaide with 156,000.
The top show for the night in five-city ratings was Seven News with 1.304 million.
Over on Ten, Junior Masterchef’s second outing for the series slipped under 1 million to 955,000. It was down on Sunday’s debut episode of 1.129 million.
The Farmer Wants A Wife on Nine pulled in 864,000, up on last week’s 792,000.
