Meanwhile, Morgan Ballantyne has also been hired as an associate consultant and media intelligence and data management specialist.

Jamie Wilkinson, director of design and digital, said in a statement: “Simon has a strong feel for content that resonates through his experience as an online editor. He will work to increase and enhance the variety of engaging content options we offer to clients, as well as expanding our thought leadership content on The 268.

“Telling stories and creating and sharing compelling content is at the heart of everything we do for our clients, which is why it is an important part of the way Cannings Purple operates.

“We are constantly searching for new and innovative ways to present and distribute content. Glenn, with his specialist skills around integrated digital strategies – including SEO, website structure and social media campaigns – will work to give clients and their content maximum reach and visibility.

“Morgan is also a key addition, who will use media monitoring and data intelligence to deliver insights we can act upon to enhance our offerings to clients.”
