Carat picks up new EMC business in APAC

Aegis Media’s agency Carat has picked up the new account of cloud computing firm EMC in Asia Pacific.

Carat has been awarded the off and online brand awareness and lead generation business across Asia Pacific for the global leader in cloud computing, big data and trusted IT solutions – EMC.

The account will be managed out of Carat Enterprise, a division of Carat which is the world’s first dedicated media planning and buying network for B2B advertisers. Specialising in media planning and buying for B2B advertisers in the technology and finance sectors, Carat Enterprise currently operates in 70 countries globally, with offices in San Francisco, London, Singapore and Australia.

EMC enables businesses and service providers to transform their operations and deliver information technology as a service. Through innovative products and services, EMC helps IT departments to store, manage, protect and analyse their most valuable asset — information — in a more agile, trusted and cost efficient way.

Carat Australia & New Zealand’s CEO Simon Ryan said, “B2B communication is an important part of what we do and picking up EMC is a significant win for the Carat Enterprise team.”

Matthew Barnett, Business Director, Carat Enterprise Australia said, “The world is ever evolving, big data is becoming more important than ever and EMC’s full service IT business solutions are really at the forefront of this. Cloud computing has also transformed the way we store information and is now a common place in businesses everywhere due to its flexibility and value. We look forward to working with the team at EMC to communicate their innovative offering to other companies and to really drive their business forward.”
