Carat’s Laura Bartal joins Lacuna as partner

Laura Bartal has joined brand partnerships agency Lacuna as partner, after leaving Carat in April.

Bartal was with Carat for seven years, and most recently led Dentsu Aegis Network’s bespoke full-service agency dedicated to The Walt Disney Company in Australia and New Zealand.

The news comes as the agency’s co-founder, Alex Wright, leaves the agency one year after it launched with GM Holden as its foundation client.

Natalie Kean, the agency’s other co-founder, said she was excited to evolve Lacuna’s offering.

“It has become very evident to me in the past year that many clients are after an agency that can be responsible for all elements of their business from brand development through to consumer strategy and marketing,” said Kean.

“I am excited to evolve Lacuna’s offering to now focus on transforming our clients’ vision into reality from the beginning”.

On her appointment, Bartal said: “It is an exciting move to be joining a business that has an ethos of doing things differently and I look forward to bringing my people focus to the agency.

“I’m really thrilled to be partnering with Natalie and taking Lacuna into its next phase of growth.”
