Carsales promotes Nicholas Bailly to national sales role

Nicholas Bailly has been promoted by Carsales to national sales director for auto OEM (original equipment manager) and media, effective immediately.

Bailly, who joined Carsales in 2016 as an auto OEM client director before transitioning to state manager for OEM & media. During this time, Bailly was responsible for the success of Carsales’ media sales teams in both NSW and QLD, working with a range of key car manufacturers.


Bailly takes on the role under general manager for auto OEM & media, Vanya Mariani, who said: “Nicho is an incredible leader and is respected across the wider business. His experience on the Auto OEM side and a deep understanding of the digital media space means he’s ideally positioned for these expanded national responsibilities.”

With more than ten years of experience working in the car industry, Bailly has worked at Hyundai and Subaru in a range of digital and marketing roles, as well as previously holding marketing and commercial roles at Eftpos Australia and Razor Group.

“Carsales is a unique business with very particular strengths. I look forward to working with the whole Carsales team to expand on these strengths and further align our offerings with our auto OEM and media partners,” said Bailly.
