CarSauce unveils new automotive content editor

Ben Zachariah has been named the new automotive content editor at CarSauce.

The announcement:

Australia’s fastest-growing publication for new-car news and reviews is expanding, with accomplished motoring journalist Ben Zachariah joining the CarSauce team as automotive content editor.

Ben comes on board after several years at Drive writing news and reviews, and following a long career as a freelance journalist in economic, defence, horological, and automotive industries.

In his short time at CarSauce, user activity on the website has skyrocketed by more than 92 per cent above expected traffic – matching figures normally seen by more established websites.

“We’re delighted to welcome Ben Zachariah to the CarSauce team as our new Automotive Content Editor,” said founder, Matt Brand.

“Ben is a seasoned automotive journalist, most recently with Drive, and brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and passion to his new role. As CarSauce enters an unprecedented phase of growth, we couldn’t be more excited to have Ben on board.”

In 2024, CarSauce achieved the second-highest number of views for new-car reviews in Australia, amassing more than 25 million video views from a predominantly Australian audience – and a cumulative 58 million views since its launch in early 2020.
