Cartoon characters ‘Al and Di’ return for another Aldi back-to-school adventure

Discount supermarket Aldi has brought back its animated cartoon characters ‘Al and Di’ as the duo embark on adventures through the jungle and Egypt.

The campaign created by BMF promotes the supermarkets back-to-school product range as Al and Di travel back in time to Egypt finding school shoes and backpacks hidden in an ancient tomb.

The pair manage to escape from a group of mummies as they time travel back to the classroom.

Another spot shows Al and Di time travelling back to school through a trampoline as they land in the jungle to find a maths wall chart and a basic skills books while being chased by a dinosaur and narrowly escaping an erupting volcano.

The campaign also features another spot where Al and Di travel back to the medieval times to discover back to school snack including tuna treats and popcorn.
