Bagg joined Catch in early 2020 as chief commercial officer, and has been instrumental in Catch’s growth strategy and success to date.

The chief marketing and commercial officer role is part of Catch’s strategy to improve its customer experience by working cross-functionally with the customer at the centre of the business.

The new appointment will allow Catch to form an end-to-end view of the customer journey, with teams working together to further strengthen Catch’s customer focus.

Catch is also doubling down on its commitment to brand building, with Bagg continuing the work started with the Everyday Aussies campaign launched last year. Bagg’s appointment in the new role coincides with the launch of a new set of TV ads for the Everyday Aussies campaign which launched on 11 July.

Speaking to his new role Bagg said: “I joined Catch in early 2020, and it’s been a fantastic experience to see the brand grow and develop over the past year and a half. I’m looking forward to doubling down on our commitment to our customers, investing in Catch’s brand and leveraging data and analytics to create a world-class online shopping experience for all Australians.”

Bagg started his career in investment banking at Macquarie Bank, and his expertise lies in market analysis and business development of entrepreneurial, high growth businesses.

He was a founding team member of Uber’s Australian operations and its local launch in 2013. Since then he has continued to work with founders and management teams in investment and strategic advisory roles.
