Catch.com.au shops around its media account; pitch down to final stages

Online retail marketplace, Catch.com.au has taken its media account to pitch, Mumbrella can reveal.

Omnicom Media Group’s Hearts & Science is currently the incumbent on the account.

Jason Bagg was promoted to Catch’s chief marketing and commercial officer in 2021, taking on the marketing remit after Ryan Gracie joined MyDeal as its first CMO.

The brand then appointed Sunday Gravy as its new creative agency in 2022, ending its relationship with AJF Partnership. The pitch for its media account caps a period of change for Catch, which appointed alt/shift as its PR agency in October.

In September, Catch launched its new brand platform, ‘Because’ alongside Sunday Gravy and Hearts & Science.

Mumbrella understands after an initial wider search, Catch is now down to its final stages of the pitch.

Both Catch and Hearts & Science declined to comment when approached by Mumbrella.
