Celebrity Apprentice Boardroom draws 644,000 metro viewers, and a nightly win for Nine

Celebrity Apprentice Boardroom was the top entertainment program in Tuesday’s TV ratings, taking in an average of 644,000 and ranked #7 overall in a nightly win for Nine.

The full launch episode also drew 575,000 metro viewers, to be the fourth placed non-news program of the evening.

Last night’s Celebrity Apprentice saw music duo The Veronica’s brought to tears, while Lord Alan Sugar was also seen ‘firing’ former The Biggest Loser Australia co-host and fitness personality, Michelle Bridges, in the Boardroom episode. Lord Sugar then went on to warn supermodel David Genat that he was lucky to have survived.

The results are a fall from last week’s numbers.  The Boardroom debuted last Sunday to an average of 812,000 metro viewers, with early trends looking consistent, as last Tuesday’s episode attracted a similar number to this week’s, with 646,000 metro viewers.

Seven’s Big Brother had an average viewership of 584,000, closely followed by Big Brother at 583,000 just ahead of the aforementioned Celebrity Apprentice.

Network Ten’s Masterchef won the 16-39 nightly demographic, with Big Brother taking out the other two key groupings.

Nine won the overall nightly metro share with 28.4%, just ahead of Seven Network with a 28.1%, Ten at 18.5% and ABC at 16.7%.

Nine News also pipped Seven News in a close call, taking 1.079 million metro viewers, compared to the latter’s 1.042 million. A Current Affair was the top non-news bulletin show of the evening, with 740,000 metro viewers.
