Chris Laws steps up at Moon Communications
Chris Laws has been promoted to GM of Moon Communications.

ydney, July 12, 2010: Moon Communications Group has announced the promotion of Chris Laws to General Manager as part of a leadership restructure to manage rapid growth within Australia and offshore.
Moon, an STW Group company, has been growing steadily to 85 people, across advertising, digital and design.
Moon Chief Executive and Managing Director, Anouk Darling, said: “ In his five years at Moon, and most recently as Client Services Director, Chris has been integral to helping drive the growth of Moon from a purely design focused business to one that creates complete and meaningful brand experiences across every creative discipline.”
“Moon’s differentiated offer is clearly resonating with the market, both in Australia and offshore. Despite the tough macro economic conditions in 2009, Moon enjoyed its best ever year, fuelled by existing client growth and a raft of new business wins, often pitching against the leading traditional agency leaders in the market. These wins included ABC, Macquarie Global, Vanuatu and, most recently, chosen as the Asia Pacific creative agency for a new client based in Taipei,” said Anouk Darling.
“Part of this growth has seen Moon building a presence in Melbourne, and overseas- in New York, and now increasingly in key Asian markets. In his new role Chris will work alongside me to ensure our talented people and our clients continue to receive outstanding attention and outcomes from working with Moon, and to help manage our continued growth.”
