I have noticed lately (for a few years now) that Aussie tv shows once they have numerous sex scenes that the show doesnt last for much longer. The storylines are weak and maybe it has another one or two seasons left. Besides this show look at Sea Patrol, Rescue Special Ops etc. Writers and producers sometimes treat viewers like they are idiots – but who are the real idiots?

how do they choose the watchers. we are tried of our favorite shows being cancelled because of others. reasons given every thing from an executive’s wife doesnot like it , doesnot suit melbourne (this includes fashion and seasons) and some small number of ?randaom individuals of which we are never included. suprisingly its seems to be show that require some thought and continunity that the random few cannot cope with and prefer reality rubbish, abusive behaviour, and hysterical contestants.

Nooo! City Homicide was such a great show!
I followed it religiously for the four years that it ran… And I can absolutely, wholeheartedly say that there was not a single bad episode.
Intriguing plot lines, fascinating twists, plenty of on-edge action and yet still, a continuing, underlying link between weekly episodes and even across series!
It’s a shame it’s gone… but even more of a shame that there’s no substitute that even comes close.

Liz & Phil … not everyone can be in the majority … such is life.
While it is only a sample of around n=12,000 people a day (the largest daily sample I am aware of) one has to think that it has to be indicative – the political polls basically “get it right” on samples of around n=1,000.
