Claire Haigh named director of communications for hotel group Accor

Hotel operator Accor has appointed Claire Haigh as director of communications for the Pacific region.

Haigh joins from Pernod Ricard’s winemaking division where she spent five-and-a-half years as global communications director.

Between 2008 and 2013, Haigh was the head of communications for Whitbread Hotels and Restaurants in the UK. Previously, she has been corporate affairs manger for AB InBev.

In her new role, Haigh will be directing communications for Accor’s corporate social responsibility initiatives and lifestyle loyalty program.

Haigh said of her appointment: “There has never been a better time to join Accor and it is a fantastic feeling to come into a thriving and dynamic business.
