Clemenger BBDO Melbourne makes two hires in the planning department
Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has appointed Brigitte Bayard as its planning director.
Bayard joins Clemenger after three years at JWT where she was appointed strategy director four months ago.
In November last year, two WPP agencies, JWT and Wunderman, merged to form Wunderman Thompson.
Bayard has also spent six years at AJF as a strategic planner, working with brands such as Lion, Officeworks and GM Holden.
Also joining the Clemenger BBDO planning department is Duncan Bell, who is taking on the role of senior planner.
Bell previously spent four years as a brand strategist at marketing and brand consultancy Forward Scout.
Clemenger BBDO Melbourne head of planning, Alex Roper, said in a statement: “In Brigitte and Duncan, we have two brilliant, modern planners who are well placed to tackle the unique and changing nature of the problems our clients face.
“Brigitte has a world-class track record for effectiveness and delivering results for government, retail, auto and FMCG clients, including the successful re-invigoration of the Leggo’s brand, in addition to generating continued growth for Australian retail darling, Officeworks.
“Duncan’s consultative approach and desire to deeply understand a problem through intelligent use of insights is incredibly refreshing and makes him a great asset for taking on the complexities our biggest clients face. He’s put this passion to work on the launch of Kayo Sports, Racing Victoria’s Spring Carnival and the Bendigo Bank brand, among others. We’re thrilled to be able to bolster our department with two of the best in Brigitte and Duncan.”
Congrats Duncan – and congrats Clems. A formidable mind, and a genuinely great dude.
