Coca-Cola launches Nutriboost, the milk drink that ‘tames’ children, in campaign from McCann

Coca-Cola has launched Nutriboost, a new ‘healthy’ flavoured milk drinks for kids, with a campaign showing the beverage turning wild school children sweet.

The TVC, created by McCann, features parents fending off their moody kids at the school pickup with bottles of Nutriboost.

The campaign has marketed Nutriboost as the ‘five-star milk drink for one-star moments’, as the product states it is a source of protein, calcium, fibre and vitamin D and has no added sugar – gaining a five-star health rating.

Coca-Cola Australia marketing manager for dairy, Amruta Vaidya, said in a statement: “The dairy category has evolved significantly as Australians increasingly look for ways to add nourishment to their diets. We took this as inspiration to create Nutriboost, which packs in plenty of nutritional punch, including protein, calcium, fibre and Vitamin D, making it a great option for in-between meal times.

“It tastes delicious and will be the perfect pick-me-up for busy families needing a nutritious boost whether they are ‘on the go’ or at home.”

The campaign will include the TVC, digital media, point of sale, and in-store sampling.

Last week, Coca-Cola launched Energy, a cola-flavoured caffeinated beverage, with a dance party in Sydney Harbour.
