Switch Digital wins Taiwan Tourism’s account

Switch Digital has been appointed to Taiwan Tourism’s PR account.

Under its new remit the agency will be hosting Taiwan Tourism’s new information centre which launched last week. It will also be handling its PR, trade shows and travel industry education.

The partnership was established to help better service the growing demand of Australian travellers and support Australian travel professionals by providing information on industry presence and guides on travelling to Taiwan.

In addition, Switch Digital was selected by Taiwan Tourism as it had recently opened an office in New Zealand, allowing the agency to manage the account across Asia Pacific.

As part of its work with the tourism board, the agency will be facilitating Taiwan’s appearance in travel and dive expos across Australia.

CEO of Switch Digital, Lee Stephens, said in a statement: “We are delighted to be appointed to work with Taiwan Tourism in APAC. Taiwan is one of Asia’s most exciting food, recreation, diving and cultural travel destinations and is also a regional leader in health, sustainable and active outdoor travel with a uniquely Taiwanese character.”

Dr Trust H.J. Lin, director of the Taiwan Tourism Bureau of New Zealand, Australia, Singapore, India and the Middle East said: “We are very happy to open our new Information Centre in Australia and our new Australian presence will showcase Taiwan’s many exciting, beautiful and cultural experiences available to Australian holiday makers. When travellers consider their next regional holiday, we want to assure them that they are very welcome in Taiwan.”
