Cochlear appoints Switched on Media as regional SEO agency

Switched on Media has been appointed by hearing aid supplier Cochlear to handle is search engine optimisation efforts across Asia Pacific.

The announcement:

Sydney, 29 March 2011: Search and social media agency, Switched on Media, today announced their appointment as Cochlear Limited’s leading SEO agency across Asia Pacific.  The seven countries included in the appointment are Australia, New Zealand, China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and India.

Appointing Switched on Media to now control all of their search needs across APAC highlights the importance of local language based search.

SOM will concentrate on increasing Cochlear’s ranking, through development of their website and social media channels, measurement of conversions, optimisation of targeted keywords, Social Media Guidelines and YouTube optimisation.
