Coca-Cola has released the ads, created by Ogilvy, for its new ‘Share a Coke’ campaign which will go to air on Sunday during the NRL Grand Final.
Lucie Austin, marketing director, Coca-Cola South Pacific told Mumbrella summer is their biggest time of year for sales and when they invest the most in marketing.
Austin said prior to this campaign, her favourite were the ‘bottle blast’ ads shot in Queensland which see people being shot out of a giant inflatable Coke bottle into the sea.
“We are really proud of it because it really did epitomise what a great iconic Coke summer is all about. Our team was particularly proud because it was an Australian piece of content rolled out to around 12 markets around the world.”
