Coles closes free Baby & Toddler magazine
Coles has folded its popular Baby & Toddler magazine, with the issue currently in stores set to be its last.
The move to shutter the magazine, which is published by content agency Medium Rare was announced on the publication’s Facebook page, with many readers expressing their disappointment at the loss of the free title.
A Coles spokesperson told Mumbrella: “We’ve made a decision to no longer print our Coles Baby & Toddler magazine as of next year. Our Coles Magazine will continue to provide family meal solutions and also feature more foodie inspiration for families with young children.”
The magazine provided food, clothing and parenting advice and was free to pick up at Coles supermarkets alongside the Our Coles magazine.
The Coles Baby & Toddler Club which is associated with the titles also has 37,000 followers on Facebook. However the brand did not respond to many requests from fans for an explanation about why the magazine was being shut down.
It is unclear if there will be an redundancies as a result of the decision.

I think the whole Baby and Toddler club is being wound down. They aren’t taking any new members and a comment on facebook on the flybuys site indicated that the club would either be ending or changing to something else.
