The local PR account has also been re-signed to Thrive PR.

Mango announced the appointment of Tabitha Fairbairn earlier this year, replacing former MD Fern Canning, who returned to Edelman in June last year.

Thrive PR’s other clients include Optus, AGL Energy, Worksafe Victoria, Cisco, Ubisoft and Simplot Australia, while Mango’s consist of Red Bull, Suncorp Group, Tim Tam, Tourism Australia and ANZ.

The PR appointment follows on from the supermarket giant shifting its media account from UM to OMD in May last year.

After ending its relationship with DDB in 2010, Ted Horton’s Big Red now manages Coles’ creative account.

Coles has been approached for comment and the agencies have declined to comment.
