Comms Council unveils Circus speakers

circusThe Communications Council has revealed its speaker line-up for next year’s Circus advertising festival.

The February 22-25 Sydney event sees the AWARD awards and Account Planning Group’s Battle of Big Thinking brought together.

There will also be a series of international keynote addresses. They include Jose Cabaco – Global Brand Creative Director Nike Sportswear; Rob Campbell – Regional Head of Creative Strategy W+K; Marvin Chow, Marketing Director Asia Pacific & Japan; Google, Jess Greenwood – Director, Contagious Insider; Josh Spear – US marketing strategist and Charles Wigley – Chairman BBH Asia.

And local speakers include:  Mieke Buchan – Triple M; Jon Casimir – Zapruder; Dr Rachael Dunlop – Australian Skeptics; Joel Gibson – Sydney Morning Herald; Remo Giuffre – Remo General Store; John Johnston- JJ Projects; Cath Keenan- Sydney Morning Herald; Richard Sauerman; Byron Sharp – Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science and Rangan Srikhanta – One Laptop per Child.

Communications Council chairman Anthony freedman said: “Despite this being our first year, the level of interest from speakers from around the world has been fantastic and we expect a range of diverse and thought provoking presentations. We have sought to develop a program relevant to a wide range of agencies and hope as many as possible will come and get involved.”
