Contiki launches a ‘Escape Room’ to bring Southern India to Sydney

Contiki has launched a holiday experience to bring Southern India to Sydney.

Created by brand experience agency Banter, the campaign invites groups of four to travel around four rooms to experience a virtual boat tour of Kerala waters, a ‘make your own dosa’ bar and massages.

The 45-minute experience called ‘Escape Room’ aims to promote Southern India as a holiday destination.

Tickets to the Escape Room are $10 each, with all the proceeds going to a local Southern Indian charity.

Vanessa Stavrou, head of marketing at Contiki, said in a statement: “Our objective was to challenge the known hustle and bustle of the North and show how dramatically different the tranquil exotic nature of the South is.

Paul Den, partner and strategy and ideas director, said: “Contiki’s vision to create culture is something that genuinely resonates and connects with our philosophy.”
