Court date set for Adam Boland Vs Seven trial

A date has been set for the legal battle between Adam Boland, the former executive producer of Seven’s Sunrise, and Seven Network. Boland is taking Seven to court because he believes he has been unfairly bound to his contract.

A full three-day hearing is scheduled to take place on August 9 at the Federal Magistrates Court in Sydney – although this won’t happen if the matter is settled earlier during mediation sessions between the two parties.

Boland is seeking to be released from a two-day-a-week contract with Seven which came into being after he quit the helm of Sunrise and The Morning Show.
