COVID-19: Is it too soon to laugh?
Dr Mumbo knows the pandemic has been tough for the TV industry, but his gut tells him now might be too soon for a comedy focused on COVID-19.
With over 500,000 deaths worldwide and an outbreak currently happening in Melbourne, a cautious programmer would perhaps delay a pandemic piss-take for a couple of months. But for all those who disagree, here’s what you can look forward to on 7mate.
This is Housos vs Virus and it skewers social distancing, toilet paper hoarding and promises ‘a big corona hot tub virus party’. Sign Dr Mumbo up.
when they say comedy is all about timing, I don't think they mean this….
Seven announces a Housos COVID-19 special:

The ‘most bonkers, kick ass, adults only Aussie comedy hour of all time’ hasn’t gone down very well on social media, although Dr Mumbo notes a launch date hasn’t yet been announced so Housos vs Virus: The Lockdown may just slip away into the ether and we can all pretend this never happened.

I saw this housos coronavirus special advertised last night! It’s so disgusting and appalling ….I can’t believe anyone would be airing this kind of sickening content at a time like this.
