David Bell of ECD of MercerBell has been selected as the Australian chair of the Caples Awards, to help promote the awards locally.
The Caples Awards are currently accepting entries from agencies around the world. Now in its 35th year, the Caples Awards are one of the most prestigious awards programs in marketing, recognising the most innovative creative solutions to tough marketing problems.
More than 50 active, senior-level agency creative professionals will gather in New York City in December to review entries across 26 categories. Entries will be evaluated for creativity in copy, art, and concept.
International chairs are appointed in more than 30 countries to help promote the Caples Awards in their respective countries. Chairs serve as experts in their home market to identify outstanding agencies and work they believe should be entered. David Bell, Executive Creative Director from MercerBell will be representing Australia as an international chair this year. David is one of Australia’s most respected Creative Directors, having worked in advertising for more than 25 years, both here and overseas. Along the way he has collected over 55 Australian and international advertising awards. He won his first of many Caples Awards in 1993.
