David Jones celebrates a golden Christmas via The Monkeys

David Jones has released its 2021 Christmas campaign, titled ‘Christmas of Dreams’, via Accenture Interactive’s The Monkeys.

The Monkeys was also responsible for last year’s Christmas campaign which went through the 182 years of history of the department store.

The 30-second ad shows a montage of people celebrating Christmas together with a golden hue, ending with a night time shot in a garden with sparklers.

David Jones’ general manager marketing Georgia Hack said: “After the year that was, this Christmas, David Jones takes our customers on an inspirational journey celebrating a Christmas of Dreams. From festive fashion and joyful moments around the Christmas table, to gift giving and dancing under the stars, this campaign perfectly encapsulates what we all want and need this Christmas – togetherness with our loved ones.”

The campaign is on YouTube, BVOD, social and TV.

The campaign was developed by The Monkeys and Collider.
