Whybin\TBWA previews first work for David Jones on Facebook

Whybin\TBWA and Maud has debuted its first work for retailer David Jones with a preview to fans of the brand on Facebook, with a stylish new ad campaign featuring model Jessica Gomes and a new tagline ‘Lead an extraordinary life’.

The Autumn/Winter 2014 campaign is the first from the agency since it won the account in September from M&C Saatchi, and has features the department store’s ambassador Gomes flaunting various  autumn and winter clothing as she uses a forest as a catwalk.

Gomes is the only model featured in the TVC, which features her walking through a forest at night, the image layered against one another to create the idea of multiple catwalks featuring the same face of the brand. The campagin is broken up into “windows” which sees Gomes walk from one into the other, her outfit changing.

However the campaign will roll out across instore, catalogues, outdoor, digital and television and feature ambassadors Gomes, Montana Cox, Jason Dundas, as well as GQ Man of Style Jarrod Scott.

The campaign features music by Australian electronic music duo The Presets, with their track ‘Ghosts’ providing a more fantastical, surreal atmosphere.
