It is directed by Gary McKendry, and stars Jason Stathan and Clive Owen, with an Australian cast that includes Ben Mendelsohn, Dominic Purcell, Yvonne Strahovski, Aden Young and Firass Dirani.
Production commenced on May 13, and it is currently being shot in regional Victoria. Work at Melbourne City Central Studios will begin in the coming weeks.

I feel the family of the people involved in this book should have been informed and warned this was being filmed and the truth should been made public, the fact that the book is just a story and of no truth makes this film a flop, by trying to say it is based on a true story is a lie and should be addressed. We are living people who have already suffered, why should others make money on our tragedies?

The film has not been released as yet so as far as i know it has not yet ‘flopped’ and your argument is flawed on the premise that Hollywood only makes factional movies!!
