DEC Communications wins EA mobile

DEC Communications has announced it has won back the EA mobile account.

The announcement:

DEC Communications is back in partnership with EA Mobile.

The Agency first handled the EA Mobile business between 2009 and 2011.

The ongoing retainer will see DEC PR supporting all key title launches in Australia and New Zealand.  Additionally, the Agency will drive positioning of EA Mobile as a powerful marketing platform to trade and business audiences showcasing the scale, capability and return on investment of in-game advertising.

EA Mobile – part of the global digital interactive entertainment company Electronics Arts – is growing rapidly and is the highest grossing publisher on the Apple App Store.  EA Mobile also owns the largest mobile game development studio in Australia.

Hugely successful franchises such as Plants VS Zombies, FIFA and Madden, which are key to EA Mobile’s growth, will celebrate their next iterations in 2013 and will be creatively showcased through the PR program.  Likewise, DEC PR will continue to represent the ongoing success stories of Real Racing 3, The Simpsons: Tapped Out and the Sims FreePlay.

The DEC PR team also welcomes new recruit Brittany Connor, who joins DEC PR as a senior consultant. Originally a New Yorker but with strong local agency experience, Brittany is a true communications all-rounder with experience across many industries including fashion & beauty, e-commerce, food & alcohol, hospitality, sport, and literature, to name but a few.
