Dentsu Creative appoints Yvette Henderson as group head of operations
Dentsu’s Creative group has selected former M&C Saatchi head of operations, Yvette Henderson, as new group head of operations for Australia and New Zealand.
The move is part of a bid for dentsu’s creative business, which includes agencies BWMisobar, dentsu mcgarrybowen, Content Symphony, Cox Inall Ridgeway and Haystac, to become “the most integrated network in the world”, according CEO of dentsu Creative, Kirsty Muddle.
“Yvette will drive borderless teaming across the ANZ region and all our creative solutions from brand, social, entertainment, design, digital experience, PR, social enterprise, and Indigenous communications,” said Muddle.
“We have remarkable and unique capabilities at dentsu. We’re at our best when those solutions collide, and we collaborate to find and build answers for our clients and for our social enterprise partners.
“Geography no longer determines what our teams work on and we’re opening up more opportunities for people across the region. Yvette shares the belief that things can be done differently, and she has the experience to make that a reality.”
Before M&C Saatchi, Henderson also spent time in operations roles at Innocean Worldwide Australia, Whybin TBWA, and Adstream Australia.
Henderson added: “I see this as an opportunity to not only transform dentsu, but to drive change across the industry. A change that benefits our people, our clients, and the work. Dentsu’s push for open teaming and true integration is refreshing and I’m looking forward to helping the team bring this to life.”
The new appointment is the latest to the growing denstu creative team, following the recent appointment of former Clemenger Melbourne CEO Gayle While as the group’s chief creative officer in March, and the appointment of former Cummins & Partner’s CEO Kirsty Muddle in November 2021.
