DGM stalwart Craig Ellis departs

craig_ellis_head_shotDGM boss Craig Ellis is leaving the online sales operation after more than seven years, the company has announced.

Ellis took the helm of the affiliate, search and display advertising company after the departure of Fionn Hyndman to run the company’s Asian operation in 2007.

Lasy year the company was sold to ComTel which rebranded as Digital Performance Group.  

In a statement, Ellis said: “I have tremendous pride and satisfaction about DGM’s achievements, commencing as a start-up in 2003 to now being recognised as a key agency in the Australian online market working with over 130 clients. I’m looking forward to taking an extended break, spending time with my young family and assessing opportunities for my next move.”

Chris Meehan, CEO of Digital Performance Group, said: “Craig has been an integral part of DGM over the last seven years, leading the company through some challenging times, including the GFC and should be commended on his results. As a company we wish Craig well for the new opportunities that will undoubtedly come his way, and thank him for his contribution.”
