Digital marketing agency United Media Solution opens Sydney office and appoints Amit Moorjani

Digital marketing and social media agency, United Media Solution, has opened an office in Sydney, 18 months after it launched in Melbourne.

The agency, which specialises in helping brands market themselves to Chinese consumers, said the expansion was owed to increasing demand by local brands for UMS’ services.

Jessica Miao, UMS chief executive officer, said: “Sydney is a key market for UMS’ Australian expansion, and it has always been our intention to open an office here as soon as it made sense. As a major business centre, where many companies are based, it is important for us to have a presence in this market so we can better serve our local clients.

“We are very excited to open our doors in Sydney and to provide more Australian marketers and companies with our China market knowledge and expertise to help them to connect and engage with Chinese consumers.”

To lead the Syndey office, UMS has appointed Amit Moorjani as business development officer. In his new position, Moorjani will be responsible for growing UMS’ data solutions division and customer relationship management services across the agency.

Previously, Moorjani was the business development manager at Digital Crew. He has also worked for Experian Asia Pacific, Marketo and Sitecore.

Moorjani said of his appointment: “Having seen what UMS have been doing in this market I am thrilled to be joining the team.

“I’ve spent a lot of time within the data marketing space and I am hoping to help clients understand how to best use data in the Chinese social media world. Not only for execution but also in terms of understanding why this data is important and how to best manage it and use it for future growth and success.”
