Digital start-up drafts Dick Smith’s Hilton as head of strategy
Playhouse Digital, the digital strategy and creative agency, has appointed Dick Smith’s Luke Hilton to the new role of head of strategy and planning.
The start-up, which launched at the end of August last year, has worked in partnership with clients including Pizza Hut, KFC, Volkswagen, Microsoft’s Windows 7, Credit Suisse and Kmart.
Hilton was previously web manager at Dick Smith where he helped rebuild the Dick Smith website in 2008 and again last year during its ‘Talk to the Techxperts’ rebrand.
Playhouse Digital founder Andrew Wong was previously at Sydney boutique digital agency Glass Onion where he worked with Hilton on the Dick Smith account.
Does Dick Smith own a Hilton?
I didn’t know he was into hotels.

The client section crashes Safari, so much for being a digital agency. The reason I went there was to see what work this agency has actually done for KFC and Pizza Hut. Could Andrew Wong please tell us?

Thanks for the heads up about Safari, it seems to be testing fine on our end. Our product is a white label digital extension to for agencies. All the work we have done is in partnership with other agencies.
