Discount store giant TK Maxx appoints 303 MullenLowe for Australian launch
International discount retail brand TK Maxx has appointed 303 MullenLowe as its agency for creative, media, digital and PR for its hotly anticipated launch into Australia.
The retailer offers discounts on brands, fashion and homewares. The TK Maxx is seen as yet another major challenge to Australia’s established clothing retailers. The store’s business model sees it selling designer brands at heavily discounted prices.
Tessa Buenen, head of marketing at TK Maxx Australia, said the “integrated model” meant the brand could “build a singular strong partnership” with the agency. “It is really exciting to bring this much-loved brand to Australia – it’s going to be a big year,” said Buenen.
Tony Dunseath, managing partner at 303 MullenLowe said: “All areas of our business, from creative to media, have been involved and the solution we presented demonstrated the benefits of our multi-disciplined approach.”
303 MullenLowe’s work for TX Maxx has already commenced.
