DMG appoints new publicity director

Chris Sioris has been appointed to the role of publicity director for DMG’s Nova 969 and Classic Rock 95.3.  

The announcement:

dmg Radio Australia today announced the appointment of Chris Sioris as Publicity Director for Nova 969 and Classic Rock 95.3.

Chris has held a range of publicity management positions locally and internationally, working for organisations such as Paramount Pictures, Universal Music, United International Pictures and 20th Century Fox Films and most recently in her own companies Princess PR & theAgency.

Chris will be part of the Sydney dmg executive team, working directly with on air talent and charged with leveraging PR opportunities for the local and national teams.

She has a passion for music, extensive experience in managing and activating publicity events, and will be heavily involved in managing strategic and tactical executions on a local and national basis.

David Borean, General Manager for Sydney stations Nova 969 and Classic Rock 95.3, commented: “We are really excited about Chris joining the team and know she will bring a wealth of insight as we explore new and creative PR opportunities for our talent and our Nova and Classic Rock brands.”

Chris starts with the Sydney stations on Monday 21st February 2011.

eckfactor, led by Karen Eck, which has represented dmg Radio Australia’s Sydney and corporate publicity for the past five years, will continue to work with the group and local stations as opportunities arise throughout the year.
