The Projects win ING Direct

Specialist youth agency The Projects has won the experiential account for ING Direct.

The announcement:

Now in their third year of operation, creative & experiential agency the projects* has entered 2011 successfully with new business wins and ambitious plans for 2011.

In a major new win, the projects* has also just been appointed as the experiential agency for ING Direct following a four way agency pitch.

This follows a very busy fourth quarter of 2010 in which the projects* successfully launched the Audi A1 across Australia as well as executing digital, experiential & social media activity for a number of brands including Electronic Arts – flying in Grammy Award winning Hip-Hop artist Big Boi from Outkast for the launch of Need for Speed Hot Pursuit – whilst also executing campaigns for ABSOLUT Vodka, Peroni, Ray-Ban, Stoneleigh Wines, Tia Maria, Vodafone & Westfield.

Of the ING Direct appointment, Carrie Barker – Partner at the projects* says: “This is a really great win for us. Delivering unique, meaningful and genuinely interesting experiential platforms is a real strength of our business, and we’re looking forward to applying our skills to bring the ING Direct brand to life for consumers. Hopefully it’ll also help educate my business partners to start saving!”

Lauren Teague – Experiential Marketing Manager @ ING Direct says “ING DIRECT is pleased to welcome the projects* to our team of specialist agencies. We look forward to tapping into their considerable creative and strategic knowledge and working together to deliver a whole new range of exciting experiences in the future.”

Most recently the projects* also won a competitive pitch to produce an experiential campaign for Pantene from Proctor & Gamble.
