dmg Radio appoints new Sydney publicity manager

dmg Radio Australia has made former publicist for the Nine network, Emma Kilkeary, its Sydney publicity manager to work across Nova 969, smoothfm 95.3 and dmg Radio’s digital media brands.

dmg Radio Australia has announced the appointment of Emma Kilkeary as Sydney Publicity Manager working across Nova 969, smoothfm 95.3 and dmg Radio’s digital media brands.

Kilkeary joins dmg Radio’s Sydney team to work directly with each station’s on air talent, producers and key stakeholders to develop publicity initiatives for the local and interstate teams and dmg Radio’s media assets.

She has been a Publicist for the Nine Network for the past four years. Kilkeary was responsible for developing strategic plans and assisting with social media direction for Nine’s local programs including the current series of Big Brother.

Kilkeary also has spent four years in publicity and promotion for Austereo in Sydney, building brand awareness for the station and individual programs.

Kilkeary appointment bolsters dmg Radio’s Publicity team in Sydney. Chris Sioris is Fitzy & Wippa’s Publicity Director, a dedicated resource focused on consumer and trade publicity for Nova 969’s breakfast team, while Jane Elliott, Publicity Director for Sydney and Melbourne, will continue to oversee dmg Radio’s corporate and national show publicity.

Emma Kilkeary will commence as Sydney Publicity Manager for dmg Radio on Monday, 2 September.
